About Dance Gallery

Dance Gallery has been teaching the young dancers of ealing since 1984! During this time it created a fun and dynamic place for school students of all ages to come and indulge in their creative talents! Having always embraced all different styles of dance, we went on to create DG dance classes. A fantastic mix of dance trends focusing mainly on dance as a performance art. Fun and vibrant, our classes are perfect to help build children’s confidence and turn them into stand out performers. The perfect dance classes for anyone who loves dance, music and performing. Our classes also help you stay fit and healthy both in mind and body! All classes take place at St Stephens Church Hall, St Stephens Road, Ealing W13 8HB, a large modern space, fully mirrored with in-house sound system.

DG Dance

DG dance classes are a fantastic mix of styles focusing mainly on dance as a performance art. Fun and vibrant, this class is perfect to help build children’s confidence and turn them into stand out performers. The ideal dance class for anyone who just loves to move around to music, wants to build confidence and stay fit and healthy both in mind and body!

Tap

Tap is a classic dance form, known for its movie star legacy. Its fast pace, rhythm sequences keep everyone on their toes and is great for fitness and exercise. Full of style, once you start you can’t stop! At Dance Gallery we try to include a mix of Tap techniques in our classes and performances, including American Tap and the more modern Stomp Tap style.

Our Tap classes run throughout the week. Contact us for more information or to enrol in one of our classes. You can also view some of your amazing Tappers dancing to their recent class routine “Feet Don’t Fail Me”

Contemporary

Contemporary is a form of dance based on expressive, unrestricted movements. Full of emotion Contemporary combines Ballet, Lyrical Jazz and Modern. Our classes take inspiration from a variety of techniques, creating diverse, powerful routines. Classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays. To find out more fill out our enrolment form and we will get back to you!

Street Dance

Street dance is a high energy, edgy dance form. So many different styles including Popping, Locking, House, Waacking – all mixed into funky dance routines learnt in class and performed during our big shows.

Junior Street Jazz Classes take place every Wednesday from 4.30-5.15pm.

We also run a Commercial Street Jazz class for our Senior Students from yrs 9 and up. This dynamic class runs every Thursday from 6-7pm and involves styles from the commercial dance world including Street, Funk, Heels, Wacking and Vouge-ing. It’s energetic, fierce and great fun and each term will feature a Special Guest Instructor who will teach us a fabulous new routine!

Musical Theatre

A love for dance usually involves a love for singing and acting too! We recognise at Dance Gallery that a lot of our students love the energy and excitement of Musical Theatre.

All our DG dance classes include repertoire from big Musical dance numbers and we always choose a selection Musicals to perform in our school show. This way students get to improve their “triple threat” performance skills and experience the joy and exhilaration of what it feels like to be in a West End show!

Junior Musical Theatre and Singing classes run every Tuesday from 5.00-5.50pm

Senior Musical Theatre and Singing classes run every Wednesday from 5.20-6.10pm

Performance

At Dance Gallery, Performance is the centre of our training. Working towards performances in class provides focus and discipline during term time and creates a great energy in class.

We have a long legacy of creating big shows at our local Questors Theatre, that have always been such a positive, fun experience for all students, allowing them their moment to shine on stage.

Our shows combine a variety of Dancing, Singing and Acting pieces so everyone can have the opportunity to showcase their talents!

Our next show will take place in MARCH 2025!

Auditions will are scheduled to happen during our Summer 2024 term!
